Emmy award-winning journalist Kathy Y. Times, and her business partner, James E. Covington, an entrepreneur and author are the creators of Where2Go411.com – a massive and unique Economic Destination (e-Destination) and mobile app designed to grow the black business class.  As the immediate past president of the National Association of Black Journalists, Times brings a wealth of experience in information management and global media relationships. Covington is the author of “From Civil Rights to Silver Rights: We Need An Economic Movement” and has owned a technology consulting business for nearly 20 years.

The driving force behind Where2Go411.com is the need for a national strategy to grow the black business class. As an e-Destination, Where2Go411.com helps to facilitate this strategy by connecting black enterprises to local and national buyers. It connects Black Enterprises to local public economic engines (HBCUs, seats of governments, school boards, counties, airport authorities, etc.) seeking to aid the growth of these Black Enterprises. Where2Go411.com helps corporations meet their diversity spending goals by connecting them to highly qualified Black Enterprises. It uniquely achieve something that no other tool has been able to do before now: It connects Black Enterprises to a national market of African-American consumers.

Lastly, Where2Go411.com connects African-Americans on the go with other African-Americans in the destination cities using the Where2Go411.com Mobile App.
